Well there is plenty going on at the Club and if you haven’t been here for a few weeks you will no doubt be interested in how the 9th Hole and Putting Green Project is tracking.
We had our Course Architect – Richard Chamberlain on site this week to sign off on the base layers so that the shaping team can now proceed with the next steps.

The Schedule ahead:
- Greens stolonised – late October (using Club’s nursery)
- 9th and Putting green surrounds turfed – late October / early November
- 9th Tee reshaping and grassing – late October (using Club’s nursery)
- 9th fairway reshaped and grassing (selected area)
- 9th rough area prior to fairway – reshaped (not turfed but will be grown in)
- 18th hole fairway bunker filled in – mid October
- 18th fairway (poor turf areas) fixed and returfed including bunker filled area – late October / early November
Estimated opening time of the new 9th hole and putting green – Late January / early February 2024 (depending on weather conditions)
