“Our next game is an away game against Indooroopilly, so wish us luck, they are a hard team to beat anywhere but particularly on their home turf.”
The above comment was my last sentence, of my last game update. I am very pleased to report that yesterday, the 7th of May we had a draw 3 and 3 against Indooroopilly at their course.
It was a very challenging day with constant rain squalls making play difficult and at times showing that home knowledge is of great benefit.
Having said that our team fought hard with most matches being quite close. Special mention though to Trevor Law who won 3 and 2 and to Gino De Luca and Paul Lewin who after losing their early lead came fighting back to win 3 and 1.
Thanks to everyone who played, I know how difficult it was and your efforts and great resolve are much appreciated.
Due to the weather it was difficult to get any outside pictures so I included one of us enjoying the draw.
The President looks extra pleased!!
Our next game is at home on Tuesday 14th May at 11am against Royal Queensland GC.
