PINK BAG CLUB UPDATE FOR APRIL 2024
Well here it is the middle of April already. Since my last update it has certainly been an interesting time, with too many rain events for us to get in consistent golf.
In my last update I stated that there were still a large number of people who had not yet paid their $20.00 membership fee for 2024. Unfortunately, this is still the case. I also stated that at the end of February I would start removing the names of those who hadn’t paid from the Pink Bag Board, due to the many cancelled games I have extended that deadline to the end of this month.
SO if you still haven’t paid your $20.00, either see me at the club or pay your $20.00 to the pro shop and they will ensure I get it.
On a brighter note, we have had a few people who appear to be dead keen on winning the Pink Jacket this year and have racked up more than one win already. Unfortunately one of them is me!!!!! Keep up the good work guys, I don’t want it!
Good news: This years pink bag club shirt is now in stock in the pro shop.( Seen below being modelled by our handsome model)
The cost is $70.00 per shirt. Due to the fact that I changed suppliers I have only ordered a limited stock, so get in quick. Once the current stock is gone I will then be taking orders for the next batch.
Finally a reminder of the few rules of the PBC:
Rule 1: ALWAYS ensure you put your score on the Pink Bag Board when you play on a Wednesday or Saturday Failure to do so for any reason other than a Medical or emergency withdrawal will result in a $20.00 fine. ( Don’t rely on someone else doing it for you)
Rule 2: The player with the lowest score on a Pink Bag Day , “wins” the Pink Bag for that day and is awarded: a $10.00 fine.
Rule 3: The PBC Member who accrues the most pink bags during the year, wins the Pink Jacket for the season.
Rule 4: THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. Oh, and ……I’m the Judge!!!
So let’s remember that we are in the Pink Bag Club to raise much needed funds to help fund the research into treating and maybe one day eradicating Prostate Cancer.
