This year’s Summer Cup was hotly contested with over 220 players playing each round.
In the Men’s event, Michael Hanson pulled off a fantastic come from behind win with a second round 64, including the first birdie to be recorded on the new 12th hole, to clinch the title. Michael’s rounds of 70, 64 gave him a two-stroke win from Wayne Gurney who fired rounds of 70, 66.
The Ladies event highlighted that consistency is key! Angie Salmon shot rounds of 76, 76 to hang on and win by 1 shot over Mel Reddacliff who followed her first round 73 with an 80 in round two.
