Following consultation with the Ladies and Veterans Captains and Presidents the following will apply for the interim period leading up to a more normal administration of these events following Stage 3 restrictions on the 10 July. Whilst subject to change based on Government advice these are provided to give the members an idea of what to expect over the coming months.

The Club will continue to manage all competitions including the Veterans and Ladies but we will manage these more in line with the normal Veterans and Ladies administration methods. This includes:

Veterans Competitions (Thursdays)

  • An interim one tee start from approx 6:15am until 10:30am for Veterans Competition players only – note that it is likely this will revert to a 2 tee start after the 10 July.
  • Competitions will be Single Stableford until after the 10 July
  • Veterans may also choose to book in later tee times and opt to play in the competition if they like
  • Prizes will revert to 3 male divisions and 1 female division
  • Ball Rundowns will be converted to a loyalty point value (not a physical ball until after the 10 July)
  • NTPs will be a random draw at the end of play
  • There will be no presentations until after the 10 July – players will just leave after they complete their round.
  • Results will be published by Pro Shop staff at the completion of play

Ladies Competitions (Tuesdays)

  • A Ladies only competition block for tee times will remain
  • Ladies can play outside of this block and still opt to play in the competition
  • Competitions will be Single Stableford until after the 10 July
  • Ball Rundowns will be converted to a loyalty point value (not a physical ball until after the 10 July)
  • There will be no NTP/ Approach shots and these prizes will be added to the Ball Rundown to increase this
  • There will be no presentations until after the 10 July – players will just leave after they complete their round.
  • Results will be published by Pro Shop staff at the completion of play
  • The 14 July will be a Monthly Medal for July
  • The 27 Hole Foursome Championship will be moved to the 18 August

We hope that this provides the Ladies and Veteran members with some clarity over the next 6-8 weeks.
