Our 2019 Coca-Cola Carbrook Classic has been won by Melissa Mason (Carbrook) and Zachary Maxwell (Virginia). Maxwell held off a strong Men’s field with two quality rounds, opening with a tournament record 66 (-5) and then backing it up with a final round 69 (-2). With his Dad on the bag, Virginia Club Professional Brett Maxwell he held off NSW State Team member Lucas Higgins (Murwillumbah) who returned rounds of 67, 71 for a 138 (-4) total.
Mason was the dominant female after firing a great round of 80 on Saturday to lead overnight by 8 shots. Although she had some challenges on Sunday she steadied the ship on the back nine and held off Mel Reddacliff by 7 shots.
245 players contested the 2019 Classic and we would like to express our thanks to Coca-Cola for the continued support as well as our supporting sponsors, members and visitors who all helped make the 2019 event the best ever.
We look forward to the 2020 Classic which will be again held in July.
