Round 2 leader Damian Cornelius was unable to continue his run of good form in the final round of the championships and was only able to post 27 stableford points, which left the door open to the chasing pack.
Throughout the afternoon the lead changed many times, at one point there was a five-way tie for first place on 74 points. However, unfortunately for that group there were 2 players out on course with a hot round going.
Finishing runner up this year with scores of 39 and 37 points for a total of 76 points was Michael Hanson.
The Mid-Week Champion for 2019 is oversea visitor (Bay Islands) Barry Malezer with rounds of 36 and a superb closing round of 41 for a total of 77 points and 1 point victory.
