As our members would be aware Carbrook Golf Club is hosting the 2019 Queensland Boys and Girls Amateur Championship from the 1-5 July. We have received a number of requests already for members of Carbrook that may be interested in billeting some of the interstate players during this week.
We are now asking for members that may be in a position to host these players to submit their interest.
Importantly Carbrook Golf Club and Golf Australia require that any member taking on this responsibility MUST hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children check). Unfortunately this is non-negotiable.
Players will most likely arrive on Saturday 29 or Sunday 30 June prior to the event and then depart on Friday 5 July after the last round. Ideally billets will assist the players getting to and from the course and provide accommodation during the week. Finer details will be discussed with between the billet and the player’s parents.
