Members will all be aware of the Federal Government announcement last night, March 22 requiring a closure from midday, Monday, March 23 of all pubs, licensed clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes (dining in), cinemas, casinos, places of worship gyms and indoor sporting venues.
I can advise that the Golf Club Clubhouse and the Golf Course is now closed and will remain closed until further notice. This includes all practice areas.
I am currently in discussions with various industry bodies and government on what this means for our Club and the operation of our golf course. I don’t have the answers just at the moment but wanted to update you with where we are at. I can however assure you that our industry is fighting
This is an extremely difficult time for our Club, but more importantly for our Country and the World. Somehow we will survive this and however I appreciate there are extremely difficult times ahead.
Once we have clarity on the Golf Course I will update you further.
