The Club Captain Mark Anderson has defeated the President Bruce Weston today in the annual President v Captain’s Challenge.
With almost all members wearing their team colours, the Captain managed to gather up plenty of supporters especially from the morning field where 2/3 of the field wore Blue. The afternoon field was more of a 50-50 split.
The 20th score for each team was 37 for the Captain and 35 for the President which provided the Captain with the win. The Captain had played well and knocked up 38 points himself against the President’s 31 which would have secured victory in the case the two teams scores were tied.
