The inaugural year of Junior Pennants in South East Queensland saw 6 clubs take part in the event, with teams competing for the Tom Berndt Shield.
The Carbrook team enjoyed some great success throughout the event and played some fantastic golf along the way. However, it is the way our team presented and conducted themselves throughout the season that we are most proud of. The team was modest in victory, gracious in defeat and fought hard in the spirit of the game.
Their efforts were truly remarkable and a credit to the club.
Our team finished the season in 3rd position after some narrow defeats which could have gone either way. Winning the Tom Berndt Shield in 2019 was the team from Redland Bay Golf Club.

The team is already looking forward to practicing for the event in 2020 and hope to go a few places better.
